I am new to the club and rovers... I am looking for a few parts for a 1995 SWB. I need a new muffler and tailpipe. The forward section looks fine. I am also looking for a roof rack and some guidance on the best shop manual.
Thank you,
Stephen |

Most of us use the RAVE manual that you can download for free on the internet. Unless you intend to have the manual in your the toolbox of your truck for trail repairs, then paper manual is what you need. As for the RAVE cd, maybe someone will chime in on the link to the free download. I can not remember where I found it.
So for the muffler and tailpipe, I believe a DISCO I will fit. They can be found anywhere.

I'm not sure which RAVE version that is, but the latest version (and last) can be downloaded here:
http://www.landroverresource.com/
Also just FYI it's also the only version that will work on a mac... _________________ Will Peters - KJ4GIC

RAVE is "free", but IMO, the LR Classic Parts discs that you can buy from the vendors are far superior to RAVE... they make them from Series to RRC and are only ~$25 a pop (though, PC only). For whatever reason, I find that I can get to what I'm looking for a lot faster on these.

You could always hit the print screen button, open WordPad, paste the image and print it from WordPad.
Actually I can print from my Rave. _________________ Jeff Hibdon

Printing from RAVE is no problem. It's the genuine manual I can't print or extract anything from. It's been several years since I tried, though. _________________ Becca DuBose, KJ4RVR

It can be hard to find exactly what you're looking for in RAVE sometimes. Plus there are several pages in RAVE with errors that just make the page look like scrambled text and characters (specifically in a section of the D1 stuff). Also the older RRC stuff that are scanned pages can be hard to read sometimes.
I also hate how the RAVE is very vague on a lot of things. It seems like half the time when I'm doing stuff and following the RAVE step by step I find myself saying "These are the worst instructions I've ever had, who wrote these?" _________________ Will Peters - KJ4GIC
